on the gold mint trail yesterday, the combination of the frozen edge of this beaver pond and the reflection of the mountains in the water were deserving of it being frozen in time for a moment.

ribeye of the sky is the corny name coined for the sandhill crane so I take its photo and call it a game... bird
where I grew up, I would see them feeding along river banks. they were not legal to hunt so I just observed and went about my day.

In light of some recent conversations, I've decided to share perspective of a classically taught photographer. The video explains a little more.
It is an expensive pursuit but all, independent, small-business ownership is. If it were my only source of income, I would be homeless, but for now, i am making ends meet.
If you're an aspiring photographer, i hope this can help you. Photography is a passion of mine and with the gross advent of AI, I want to encourage anyone with interest to pursue real photography.
