Everyone loves a good sunset, but have you stayed long enough to see what comes after the gold? Blue hour can be just as stunning as the golden hour it precedes. That last bit of fading light truly puts the world into stunning tones of blue.

A cascade of magic.

This is one of our favorite places to go (as long as the water level isn’t quite so elevated). After having to delay her session, we were able to walk out to the falls and shoot. In the end it worked out for the best, because when we got there everything was perfect!

Isabella came to us with a reference photo and the question ‘would we be able to shoot here?’ Now the hunt was on! After some exploration, we found the spot and told her the session was a go.

Some evenings in Alaska feel almost too beautiful to be real.

Warm sun on her face, the breeze catching her dress and a sunset painting the coastal rocks, turned an ordinary evening into something unforgettable.

There’s something special about senior photos here in Alaska. You don’t have to choose between beautiful portraits and stunning scenery. In Alaska, the landscape becomes part of the story.

Sometimes the best senior photos start with, “What if we got in the water?”

Our Senior had the idea, and we were all in. Literally.

Knee-deep in Eklutna Lake, with the mountains all around her, she created a senior session that was completely her own.

We love showcasing our Seniors and the things they love about themselves. Their ideas, their personalities, and the little things that make them uniquely them.

And sometimes, that means getting your feet wet.

Guess it's time for the green to turn to gold.

One of our favorite times of year is when the world turns from shades of green to shades of yellow. Watching the leaves change is such a beautiful thing. We were able to find a small patch of grass that had begun to change, and create some stunning photos.
