Veteran Appreciation Night | Eagle River Speedway 🏁

What a way to kick off the season.

Even with the weather delays throughout the weekend, it was great to be back at the track and this event really felt like the start of what should be an awesome season at Eagle River Speedway. A lot of great moments throughout these galleries from all around the speedway.

🏁 FIRST VICTORY LANE PHOTOS OF THE 2026 SEASON 🏁🇺🇸

Veteran Appreciation Night gave us a fight with the weather this weekend. We got part of the opener completed Saturday before the rain rolled in, then came back yesterday and managed to finish a few more feature races before Mother Nature won again. 🌧️

Even with the stop-and-go weather, we still got our first Victory Lane moments of the season at Eagle River Speedway.

Unfortunately, last year there were multiple situations where images were used outside of their intended purpose. This made me question if I should continue providing free galleries. Whether malicious or not, it still happened. This included featured images with my logo and the track’s logo being cropped out for promotional use, watermarks being removed for AI graphics/posters, and free images being repurposed for sponsorship and team marketing.

That is not acceptable and moving forward it will result in those individuals or teams no longer being featured on my page.

I don’t want to take away free photos from the people who have shared and used the galleries respectfully. The free galleries are still something I want to provide to help support and promote our local teams and racing community.

All I ask is that people respect the work and the time behind these galleries. The hours spent shooting and editing, the equipment investment, and the years spent building our styles and quality all have value.

The free galleries are shared in good faith for racers, teams, and fans to enjoy and share, not to have watermarks removed or reused for personal gain without permission or accreditation.

This post isn’t meant to call anyone out or hold a grudge. I simply want my work, and the work of fellow creators, to be respected the same way we respect the racers, teams, and tracks we photograph.
