Had a great morning shooting coffee and pastries at The Syringa in downtown Nampa.

If you haven't been in yet — it's worth the trip. 21+ cocktail lounge that opens at 7am for coffee, with drinks that look as good as they taste. The interior alone makes every shot interesting.

Boise has an incredible community of small businesses pouring their hearts into what they do, and the food truck scene is one of the best expressions of that spirit. And Bao Mi Street Buns is everything that scene stands for house made bao buns, bold house sauces, and a crew that treats every customer like a regular.

But somehow they're still one of Boise's best kept secrets, and not enough people know where to find them.

I grabbed my camera, got behind the scenes, and made this reel because every great story deserves to be told!

Spent yesterday at Gem State Comic Con and honestly what a world these people create.

From jaw-dropping cosplays to the pure joy of being surrounded by people who geek out hard over the things they love, the energy in that room was something else. This is what happens when a community shows up for each other.
