Today wasn't just a callback. It was a day full of courage, discovery, and growth. 🎬
To everyone who came out for the Between Trains callback today—thank you. Genuinely.
I know how much preparation, emotion, and vulnerability it takes to stand in front and give everything you have. My goal today was to give each of you as many opportunities as possible to show what you can truly do—not just through the scenes, but through different exercises, challenges, and moments that allowed you to step outside your comfort zone and discover something more in your performance.
You are all incredibly talented. And honestly, choosing only two people for the roles of Mara and Lucy is not going to be easy.
But as a filmmaker, my responsibility is to make the best and fairest judgment I can—to find the two performers who can bring these characters to life and create the connection this story needs.
To everyone who participated today: please don't let the final casting decision define your journey. Every audition, every callback, every exercise, every “yes” to an opportunity is another step toward becoming a stronger artist.
There will be more films. More auditions. More workshops. More activities. More opportunities to learn, connect, create, and grow together.
So keep showing up. Keep challenging yourself. Keep believing in what you can become.
Your opportunity may not always come in the form you expected—but sometimes, simply showing up is the beginning of something bigger.
