Ok ok don’t come for me but I’m a Halloween 👻 / Pumpkin 🎃/ Fall 🍂 ready girl year round 🙈 However, Beach sessions & elopements are still in full swing into September and as a ready girly I’m actually here for it 😂

“What started as a hobby for two teenagers who met at a horse show somehow turned into our entire life” 🥹🐎

Alexandra & Matt’s love story is truly a real life movie! They met at only 17 & 18 and I could just tell they put their passion and hearts together to create a space that is both caring and inspiring!

I knew getting these two in front of my camera was magic just waiting to happen!! Even on a rainy day, they still aced my dream elopement inspired shoot.

I hope couples who also have a special story are inspired to incorporate the parts of the life they’ve built together into their wedding or elopement day. 🥹🤍

I cannot thank all the vendors and Amara staff enough for their help, collaboration and participation in this beautiful shoot!

This isn’t a venue or even a local park.

Samantha & Jack’s intimate wedding day was at a beautiful Airbnb with 6 of their family members and some swans that live on property! 🦢🤍

It was so nice because everything was in one place so they got ready there, it was so calm. I was able to help steam their outfits a bit so they could fully relax before their ceremony!

They got ready (Sam upstairs, Jack downstairs), we did some individual photos, I set Jack up outside for the first look, then the beautiful ceremony, some family photos, then golden hour hit at the perfect moment, a celebratory champagne pop, and sooo much love & happy tears all day (even from me) 🥹

These are just a few of my favorites but I will share more soon 😘

They are just another reminder of how getting married is the most important part - how is completely up to you! And all of it is perfect 🤍

8 years of Marisa Adriana Photography 📰✨

10 years ago, I picked up a camera with a dream bigger than my fear. Just 2 years later I was published for the very first time with Competition Infinity, that day is the day I marked as the beginning of a long beautiful adventure. Little did I know how far it would take me.

Today, that dream has taken me across state lines, connected me with thousands of incredible people, documented love stories, growing families, tiny newborn fingers, tearful vows, and moments that can never be recreated twice.

In the last 8 years I’ve:
• photographed hundreds of sessions + weddings
• traveled for destination love stories
• built a business while becoming a mom
• worked (working still😅) through burnout, self-doubt, and reinvention
• created art that’s been trusted to hold people’s memories forever

And somehow, after all this time… I still get emotional when people choose me to tell their story.

Thank you to every client, friend, supporter, and person who shared my work, believed in me, or trusted me with a piece of their life.

8 years. What a beautiful chapter. 🖤

Your photographer is one of the people you’ll spend the MOST time with on your elopement day (especially if they’re also marrying you, like I can!!) and I feel like couples don’t realize how important personality compatibility actually is 🤍

You deserve someone who feels less like a stranger with a camera and more like a friend hyping you up, calming your nerves, fixing your hair, third wheeling your adventure, and dancing with you after sunset 🫶✨

The photos matter, but so does the energy around you while they’re being taken.

If you’re awkward, chaotic, emotional, introverted, goofy, sentimental, or down for spontaneous moments… your photographer should feel like a natural fit for YOU.

To all the mamas,

A love letter to you:
I see you.
I feel you.
I am you.

There is nothing easy about what we’re doing. I see your stress, I see all that you carry (it’s not just those littles in your arms), I see the pain, the joy, and the love that you pour into your family. I see the exhaustion and the strength, mainly simultaneously. You don’t give yourself enough credit or enough grace. And you sure don’t hear enough how good of a job you’re doing.

Some of you I’ve seen from when you were dating your partner, to getting married, to having your babies, and I am so grateful for all of you for trusting me with a piece of your story wherever I came in 🥹

This is definitely not all of the Moms I have photographed over the years, there are hundreds of you! From new moms, to seasoned moms, bonus moms, moms watching their kids getting married, moms getting married with their babies by their side, mother figures, grandmas, great grandmothers, and more, I thank you all and wish every one of you a beautiful Mother’s Day 💛 Don’t forget, you’re those babies whole world 🌎 love you! This is the #1 thing every couple says to me at the beginning of our session 👀

“We feel awkward in photos…” or at least a variation of that!

I always say, you don’t need to “know what to do” in front of the camera. You don’t need to practice poses or copy Pinterest.

If you’ve ever said, “We’re gonna be so awkward at this” — you’re exactly my kind of couple. 😘

Because my job isn’t to make you pose perfectly…it’s to guide you in a way that feels natural, effortless, and actually like you. 🥹

No stiff arms. No forced smiles. No overthinking every little thing!! Just movement, connection, and real moments that unfold naturally.

By the time we’re done, you’ll be saying, “Wait… that was actually fun!!” And It’ll look like you’ve always been that couple who’s effortlessly in love in photos 🤍
