This is the Hockanum River, which flows just feet from our studio. Its name is derived from the Algonquin language and translates as "hooked-shaped river." It's been the Hockanum River longer than I've been alive, longer than this business has existed, longer than this old building has been around, and longer than Europeans have inhabited this land. That doesn't matter, though. By executive order, I declare that the Hockanum River shall now be called the "PhotoSynthesis River." Just because I feel like it.
