🏔️ My First Time in Big Bear 📸

It’s crazy to think that living in Southern California all these years, this was my first trip ever to Big Bear.

I came expecting the mountains, the lake, and hopefully a few good photographs. What I didn’t expect was how welcoming everyone would be. Everywhere we went, people were genuinely kind, polite, and friendly. Sometimes a simple hello, a smile, or a quick conversation with a stranger can completely change how you experience a place.

And then there was the wildlife. ❤️

I found myself slowing down, watching, waiting, and enjoying photography for what made me fall in love with it in the first place—being present and capturing a moment that might never happen exactly the same way again.

From the birds along the water to the woodpecker against the tree and the hawk soaring overhead, Big Bear gave me plenty of reasons to keep my camera ready.

First trip to Big Bear… definitely not my last. 🏔️📷
