- The message behind giving these hats away that I know I could sell to local folks in the community that I see all the time is about spreading awareness and rebuilding our East Palo Alto pride/culture! The OG’s really know what EPA is about and literally threw away a Nike hat to rock the hat with PRIDE like it was nothing! I’ve notice how the work I’ve done in these streets have opened eyes and ears and I’m beyond grateful and thankful for every 1 who’s supported. People on the outside looking in from other communities are now curious about our little city coming out here to try our independent food companies/supporting our independent clothing brands.
