Hello Spring!🌸

One of my favorite things about spring is identifying all the new flowers. This one I thought was Jasmine at first, but no smell. It's just a gorgeous clematis. 🥰

I guess all those years my mom made me help w**d the garden paid off for my love of gardening now. But I stick to container gardening... Less w**ds. 😆

To get on this trail, head down Hwy 30 in the gorge till the Eagle Creek exit (where the fish hatchery is). To get on the trail cross the suspension bridge and then keep heading up! It's not as exciting trail as punchbowl falls but was not rocky either.

I can't wait to go back to this spot this summer. Neskowin is one of my favorite beaches because it's sheltered from the wind and it's not over populated. It's a nice place to recharge your spiritual batteries. 🕉

Sauvie Lone Tree

Out of all the pictures I've taken this one is my all time favorite. I was out at Sauvie Island and enjoying the farms during the autumn time and I found this solo oak tree. I didn't have my camera on me so I went back the next day at sunset.

All the conditions were right the next day. Beautiful sunset, Mt. Hood was visible in the background, and right when I was taking my shots hundreds of birds started to take off in the background! 😱😍 I was in my own personal heaven.

This tree was struck by lightening a while back so it no longer exists. I'm so glad I was able to capture its beauty before it came to its untimely end. 💝

Peninsula Park Sunset

If you have ever walked through Peninsula Park in full bloom you know it smells AMAZING! This park reminds me of Alice in Wonderland with its cute little bon bon trees and manicured hedges.

I really love how the light glows in this picture and how the sunset compliments the roses below. It's hard to say what draws your eye first, the fountain or the sunset. What in this picture draws your eye first?
