Last week I got to photograph Grammy award winner Rosanne Cash and her husband John Leventhal performing in honor of the 30th anniversary release of “The Wheel” at McCarter Theatre Center.

I was particularly moved by her introduction of the second song of her set, The Sunken Lands, in which she talks about the history behind her father’s boyhood home, and the strength of her grandmother in particular. My wife and I are both big Johnny Cash fans and had the great experience of visiting that very house in Dyess Arkansas during one of our epic roadtrips.

Back to it in 2024! My first event gig of the year was a blast! Thanks in large part to creating the vibe that kept everyone dancing from start to finish. Shout out to for creating a great venue. I’ve dined there many a time and had no idea they had such great private event spaces! Lastly thanks to the amazing Randy & Salome for having me there to document everything. A sweeter couple can not be found. Now for the hashtags! 😜
