5 years and 5 unforgettable moments I got to document with my camera

This week marks 5 years since I decided to become a full-time photographer, and I couldn't let it pass without looking back at the moments that made me fall in love with this work all over again.

A proposal under a sky of lanterns. A lift that turned into the biggest laugh. Sparklers and happy tears. My first wedding reception on a boat. And vows that had the groom cracking up mid-ceremony.

Planning a proposal in the Poconos? 💍 Here are 5 of my favorite locations!

1. Tank Hollow, gorgeous mountain views and perfect for couples who don’t mind a little adventure.
2. Big Pocono State Park, panoramic mountain views and especially beautiful around sunset and during the fall. 🍂
3. Hawk Falls, a beautiful waterfall surrounded by woods. This is a great one if you want something that feels a little more adventurous.
4. Blue Ridge Estate Vineyard & Winery, beautiful vineyard views and a romantic setting without having to hike anywhere. 🍷
5. Ice Lake, beautiful year-round, but winter is my favorite. When the lake freezes and there’s snow everywhere, it’s absolutely magical. ❄️

After photographing so many proposals over the years, I’ve learned that the perfect location doesn’t have to be the most dramatic one. It just has to feel right for the two of you.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women whose love shapes generations. ❤️

One of the greatest gifts of this work is getting to witness motherhood through so many different chapters of life; everyday moments, joyful celebrations, resilience, healing, new beginnings, and the kind of love that endures through it all.

Over the years, I’ve met mothers who have inspired me deeply. Women who carry so much strength, grace, and heart into the lives of their children and the people around them. Being trusted to document even a small piece of their story is something I never take for granted.

This image stayed with me; a mother dancing and embracing her sons on her wedding day. A reminder that motherhood exists in every season of our lives.

To all the moms, mother figures, and women loving others with their whole hearts… Happy Mother’s Day!!!
