What is included in the full session?

The full session includes:
1. Attempted workflow of my "nakie"/table poses

2. Wrapped/prop workflow

3. Sibling - Yes, dogs are siblings too (If they're chill .. no anxious dogs)

4. Family

5. I bring the studio to you, or you can come to me!

6. All edited digital images with the option to purchase products

7. I plan and style everything based on your color choosing! You do not need to bring anything, set anything out, buy anything extra etc. I plan and style and bring everything with me including my wood floors! I do have a small detailed prep guide to either prepare your home or baby or both to make sure your session goes smoothly

Outdoor newborn sessions are super underrated .. Throwing it back to last year to one of my favorite outdoor newbies .... Adding a new baby to your family with older siblings is one of my favorite things .. capturing the connections between your older kiddos with their new baby ... the connections you've developed with your older kids coming out in full force as everyone adjusts + the snuggles, love, laughs and overall newness that is a new baby added to your chaos. :)

I was told I did not make a big enough deal out of this… so here’s my public announcement. BECAUSE OF YOU, I was voted best maternity + newborn photographer in our region for Michigan.

I did not nominate myself, I honestly have no idea who nominated me. I am grateful for every single family that has trusted me to capture a newborn, family, or wedding and everything in between in the past 10 years! I think I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that yall still like my work 😂 and choose me to capture your memories. 🙈

However, one person entirely gets the glory - God. Because this isn’t my business, I am the face. God provided the talent and the work ethic and the heart for me to choose this daily and I wouldn’t trade it - capturing your memories is truly something I cherish. I actually just had a conversation with someone a couple weeks ago about how my business is truly part of my ministry and sharing the love of Jesus with others - if you know me - you know I love people and without judgement.

This business has been able to support our family, allow me to stay home and raise my kids, now to stay home and homeschool them. I truly am beyond grateful.

And also - my husband. Thank you for supporting me. For allowing me to constantly shoot wild ideas at you, for putting up with my crazy of rearranging our living room countless times a year and being my biggest cheerleader. 🖤 this also would not be possible without you.

Let’s can up some green beans!

What you need: green beans, water, salt, jars + a pressure canner.

1. Wash and cut the ends off your green beans then cut them into 2 or 3 pieces

2. Pack your jars with the beans to 1ish inch headspace - I may over pack my jars but it hasn’t failed me yet 😂

3. Add canning salt or any salt without iodine - 1tsp for quarts and 1/2 tsp for pints

4. Add water to 1 inch headspace

5. Wipe rims and add lids and rings (fingertip tight, don’t crank)

6. Add to pressure canner with 3 quarts of water (or whatever your canner needs) | cold jars in cold water or hot jars in hot water

7. Pressure can at your elevation for 25 minutes for quarts or 20 minutes for pints.

8. Remove from heat and let pressure come down naturally.

Save! And stock your pantry for the winter! You don’t have to grow your produce either, you can buy produce at a local farm stand to preserve! 🖤

Let’s make some jalapeños!

Brine Recipe:
For 7 quarts/10 pints - I did a 2.5 batch brine and it was pretty spot on.

6C vinegar
2C water
1 TBSP + 1 tsp Canning Salt
1 TBSP sugar
-Bring to a boil

Pro Tip: wear gloves 🤣

This is the SAME recipe I used for banana peppers as well!
