One of the biggest regrets I hear from parents is: “We meant to book newborn photos but life got busy.”

And honestly? That makes complete sense🤭

Those first days are a blur of feedings, no sleep, recovering, and trying to adjust to your brand new world. That’s exactly why I always encourage families to plan their newborn session while they’re still pregnant, while they are scheduling their maternity photos to be exact! (Hint hint!🤘🏻)

Because once baby arrives, you shouldn’t have to research photographers, coordinate schedules, or figure out what everyone is wearing.

Before your session, I walk you through everything, what to wear, how to prepare, what to expect, and how the whole process works so you can show up feeling relaxed instead of overwhelmed.

I hear that from toddler parents all the time right before we create some of the most meaningful photos they’ve ever had✨📸

Here’s the thing: toddlers were never meant to sit perfectly still, smile on cue, or follow directions for an hour straight and honestly, that’s what makes them magic. The best moments happen in between. The tickle fights, the snack breaks, the dandelion picking, the “watch how fast I can run!” moments, and the giggle piles that happen completely unplanned❤️

That’s why my sessions aren’t built around forcing perfect poses. They’re built around movement, play, connection, and giving your family space to just be together. I come prepared with prompts, games, and a whole lot of patience so your kids feel like they’re simply having fun not performing for a camera🤟🏻

I’ve spent so much of my life trying to figure out where I fit, trying on different roles and chasing different versions of myself. But nothing has ever felt as steady or grounding as motherhood. This is the place that brought me home to myself. Not because it’s easy or because I always have it together, but because there are little arms that reach for me first and little voices calling “mom” all day long. In this life, with these babies, I know I matter in a way no title or accomplishment ever could❤️

Somewhere along the way, I became more than just their mom. I became their safe place, their comfort, their biggest cheerleader, and now even their teacher. Getting to homeschool them has been one of the sweetest gifts. Watching their minds grow, seeing the world through their eyes, and learning right alongside them has stretched me, humbled me, and filled our days with so much purpose and joy🫶🏻

Motherhood didn’t make me lose myself. It uncovered parts of me I didn’t even know were there. Somehow, in the middle of the mess, the laughter, the lessons, the long days, and the late nights, I found the real me.

Being their mom will always be the greatest honor of my life. 🫶🏻
