Because one day those little hands won’t be so little, and I promise you’ll want to remember exactly what this season looked like. The chaos, the giggles and all of it.

Okay, this next wedding I shot last weekend, and I took my time going through these because there were SO many good ones. Not to mention, the entire day was just incredible. The amount of work this bride and groom put into every single detail did not go unnoticed by me.

They made their own butter flowers, the groom made ALL of the food, which was insane and so damn delicious, and did you know he makes his own BBQ sauces?! Obviously I tried every single one because he was so excited to tell me about them, and of course I needed to properly report back 😂 The bride made ALL of the cakes. ALL OF THEM. So naturally, I tried those too. If you tell me you made something, I’m going to try it so I can brag about you to everyone.

I had a long talk with the groom and told him that the day he decides to open his own catering business, I will be recommending him to literally everyone I know. This bride and groom are truly some of my favorite people, and I feel so lucky that I got to be there for this day. ❤️

Before I left for vacation, I shot this wedding and made sure the bride and groom had their preview before I left. Them seeing their photos before the rest of the world will always be the most important thing to me.

And now I finally get to share them because LOOK AT THESE TWO!! They were so much fun, and I truly had the best day with them. Not only were they incredibly kind, but their entire family was so kind to me and my second shooter too. Kindness is something I’ve found myself questioning a lot lately, but this whole day was such a good reminder that there are still really freaking good people in the world. I’m so thankful I got to be part of it. ❤️

I freaking love this kid. He was up for anything, trusted every weird idea I had and absolutely killed his senior session.

Before anyone gets inspired and goes wandering around train tracks trying to find this spot, we had special permission to be here. Please do not go exploring active tracks for senior pictures because you saw me do it. I enjoy all of you alive and without trespassing tickets.

Also, don’t forget I’m running senior minis on September 12! They’re $65 for 15 minutes and 3 edited images, and it looks like I only have TWO spots left!

I had SO much fun with this senior session. She was down for literally anything I threw at her, which is always dangerous because then I start getting ideas 😂

We did the pretty flowers, the soccer field, the dramatic lights, climbed around where we probably questioned our life choices a couple times, scared ourselves more than once, and somehow it all worked out.

She trusted the process, went along with my chaos and absolutely KILLED it.

Senior sessions like this are my favorite. Give me someone who is up for anything and I will absolutely make it weird in the best way 😂

FALL MINI UPDATE!!

My VIP group got first dibs on fall minis last night, and you guys did NOT mess around.

It looks like I still have TWO early morning spots available on October 24, so I’m opening those up here to everyone!

And before anyone hears “early morning” and panics 😂 these are actually some of my FAVORITE times to shoot. You still get that gorgeous warm, golden light, just without having to fight for one of the crazy limited evening spots.

Fall Minis are 15 minutes, $65 + tax, and include 5 edited images.

Fall sessions are officially filling up, so I wanted to put this out there before September gets away from us!!

There are only so many true sunset/golden-hour spots once fall hits. The days get shorter fast, sunset gets earlier every week, and I can only fit so many full sessions into that little window of pretty evening light.

If you know you want fall photos, especially if you want that warm golden-hour look, please don’t wait too long to reach out. I still have a handful of availability, but those prime evening spots are getting very limited. Morning sessions are also an option and can be SO pretty in the fall.

I’m also thinking about doing a few fall minis depending on interest, so keep an eye out for those. 👀

And yes, I know I’m a little late to the holiday game this year but I’ve officially started working on my holiday set! I’m putting everything together now and I’ll be releasing that soon too.

Basically… fall and holiday season is coming whether I’m emotionally prepared for it or not. So time to buckle up!!!
