Since my diagnosis last fall, I wasn't really sure what was going to happen with my businesses. Especially photography. I had previously considered closing Whimsical Fox Photography down--my health and unpredictable side effects of treatment seemed like it may be the reason to finally call it quits. So I filled out the paperwork to start the process of closing my LLC.
But then I look back at my work, and my heart is so full, and other photographer's work, and I fall in love with photography all over again, and question if I'm doing the right thing.
So I ripped up the papers.
I've been thinking about where I'm at now in life, and what interests me with photography. I realized I don't have to just close everything down. I can shift and incorporate some of the other interests I have to work with the business I've created, and reduce the type of sessions I offer to clients (focusing mainly on minis).
So that's what I intend to do! I'll continue to work with clients, while also weaving in nature photography and hopefully videography. I'm very passionate about folks getting outside and reconnecting with the earth. It's healing. In more ways than one. I truly believe that, and want to share more of that with you.
All of that said, my schedule is becoming VERY busy with all the travel we're planning this year, so I encourage you to reach out sooner rather than later to schedule a photo session if you're thinking about doing one with me this year. โค๏ธ
