Coffee, cupcakes… and a wall full of spring 🤩☕🌸

I'm super excited to announce a new collection "The Joy of Spring" is now hanging at Sweet Friends Bakery in Edmond!

Showcasing vivid florals, happy little creatures, and ALL the color that the "Joy of Spring" deserves.

All the artwork on display is also available for purchase, and if you see a certain piece you connect with, you can take it home immediately! (you can pay for it in-store, or through Venmo/Cash app)

I hope my art has visitors leaving the bakery with a little extra happiness, and maybe an extra dessert... or painting! 🤪

And now for something completely different!

I’ve been wanting to learn digital art for some time now (I tried learning a few times in the past but it didn’t stick) and recently I discovered online courses from Lisa Bardot of Artmakersclub.com and I’ve REALLY enjoyed the classes and learning, they are easy to follow for an absolute newbie like myself, and they are short (15-30 min tho there are longer more in-depth lessons too)

These are some of the lessons I’ve completed so far (The goose one is a free YouTube video on her “Bardot Brush” channel) and while these aren’t “gallery worthy” creations, I’m excited to see what I’ll learn and draw digitally this year!

For Valentine's Day, you can't get much more romantic than the "City of Love" 😁

For a less romantic fact, I was extra motivated to try painting this after playing the game "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a once-in-a-generation video game with one of THE greatest soundtracks I've ever heard in a video game.

Seriously, even if you hate video games and everything about them, check out the soundtrack (by Lorien Testard). The soundtrack is 8+ hours (insane), and is so good, it's been sitting at the top of the Billboard Classical charts since it came out almost a year ago 🤯

Anyways, the 8x10" original of this is available at Art Central: A Co-Op Gallery in addition to prints and greeting cards (which are also available at Stompin’ Grounds Market ... get that someone special a fun piece of art (and if they also played Exp. 33, they'll REALLY love it 🤣)

I do enjoy the winter season of fuzzy blankets, oversized sweatshirts and just general coziness... Buuuuuuut today's 80°...

I do enjoy the winter season of fuzzy blankets, oversized sweatshirts and just general coziness... Buuuuuuut today's 80° sunny weather does have me already daydreaming about spring, gardening, flowers, and then... bugs!

But I WILL be patient and let winter finish its run for a few more weeks before I dive headfirst into gardening season 🤪

I love that I was able to get THE Santa Claus to pose with my Santa painting at this year's Wild at Art show!

And I did not have this one finished at the time, but now I have a matching Mrs. Claus to complete the duo!

Both of the originals have already sold, but are still available as (super popular) cards, seasonal prints, and the new ornaments I introduced this year!

(My Mrs. Claus painting I titled "Oh My [North] Stars!" And I'm very proud of myself for coming up with that 🤣🤣🤣)
