I’m Skye Manikateri, 25 year old and Native American enrolled at the Three Affiliated Tribes from the Fort Berthold Reservation. I’m been doing photography for about 3 years and I’m self taught from observing practicing photographers that I worked with for the few years that I was modeling. I don’t go by the standards of just snapping photos for my clients. I believe in crea
ting the beautiful image and bring life into the portrait captured in my photography. I also do hair and makeup also theatrical makeup as well, which I can basically turn my clients into anything they please to become. I believe photography is a magical transformation of my imagination. I also love to capture the beauty in true moments of life and of people and their real life situations. *Guidance I will provide during the shoot to capture your best look. It may be uncomfortable at first to have a photographer taking your pictures, unfortunately that discomfort shows in the images. My approach to this is to make you feel as comfortable as possible and confident in getting your pictures taken. Also guide you in the modeling area to help with poses and angles to capture your best look. I have 3 years of modeling experience and I will be more then happy to help you through out the shoot. Your satisfaction and gratification in the session is my goal.
*Any concepts that you will like to try please feel free to share with me. A concept can allow photographers to showcase what they really want to capture and specific style or idea. Also any of the previous shoot concepts that I have we can recreate. As far as theatrical makeup may be a cost difference. I can provide different concepts as well if you would like to set up a meeting prior to your shoot, so we can discuss concepts also locations, props and so forth. To meet your expectations for your portrait session with me is very important to me, so I can create the best images for your big moment in life and creating that memory for a lifetime
