Meet my newest nephew, Jett David.

A common misconception about newborn photography is that we get to cuddle babies. We do get lots of hands on time, but it's not the kind that Aunties get sitting in a rocker with baby swaddled up. I look forward to that very soon, though!

This is a cause very near and dear to my heart. Christy and I have been best friends since high school and walked through many hard things together. None has been harder than this time right now. She is recovering from an extremely painful and debilitating surgery to remove a melanoma from her back. Through her husband's recent job loss and physical inability to care for her four young children, Christy has continued to have unshakable faith and joy. It has always been difficult for her to ask others for help, so we are asking the church to rally around them in prayer, encouraging words, acts of service and financial blessing as they walk through this trial.
