I don’t really like to give my two-cents, but I feel like I should in this case. So read ahead if you care what I have to say 🤣
I have read where the Supreme Court has ruled it legal to have AI images of children.
I have also seen where some other photographers are removing identifiable photos of children from their pages.
I will not be doing that. Since I have started my business, I have been fully aware of the dangers of posting children online. Even before AI, there were dangers.
Knowing that, I have always given my clients the option to not have their child posted and I FULLY respect that!
Going forward, I will continue to run my business as I have, and ask for permission before posting your children.
Often times, the photos I take are proudly posted and shared and sometimes my page is tagged and some times it isn’t. A lot of my clients come from Facebook and I believe it’s because of the photos my clients and I share! They show the candid moments that I work so hard to capture.
I hope this doesn’t sound harsh, and I completely understand why other photographers are doing what they are and the families that are keeping their kiddos private!
I just wanted to make a statement and let everyone know. Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.
