5 Things to Think About When Choosing What to Wear for Your Photoshoot ✨

✨Choose clothing that feels like you.
The most beautiful portraits happen when you're comfortable and confident. Wear pieces that reflect your personality rather than following trends that don't feel authentic.

✨Consider the mood of your session.
Are we creating something soft and romantic, bold and editorial, or dark and cinematic? Your wardrobe should support the story we're telling together.

✨Think about color and texture.
Rich fabrics, layers, lace, velvet, linen, silk, and knits photograph beautifully and add depth to your images. Solid colors often photograph better than busy patterns.

✨Pay attention to fit.
Choose pieces that fit well and allow you to move comfortably. Constantly adjusting clothing during a session can pull you out of the moment.

✨Don't forget the details.
Jewelry, hats, scarves, jackets, boots, and meaningful accessories can elevate your portraits and help tell your story in a more personal way.

I’ve always loved photography that feels a little unreal. The kind of portraits that make you stop for a second and wonder about the story behind them.

Conceptual work gives me the freedom to create something deeper than a pretty image. It becomes mood, symbolism, emotion, fantasy; sometimes even the parts of ourselves we don’t usually show people.

This is the side of photography where there are no limits. We can create something dark, soft, dramatic, ethereal, or completely unexpected.

Honestly, these kinds of shoots are some of my favorites because every session feels like stepping into another world for a little while.

Some people are drawn to softness — quiet intimacy, delicate light, subtle emotion.
Others are pulled toward darker, cinematic imagery filled with mystery and depth.

There is something hauntingly beautiful about existing between concealment and revelation… where emotion speaks louder than light ever could.

This series was created for the souls drawn to darkness not as emptiness, but as atmosphere. As intimacy. As art.

She does not disappear into the shadows.
She becomes them.
