People connect with people. And your work has a story.

Sometimes the best way to tell that story is to let people see the person behind it - you. Let them see the work you do, the ideas you bring to it, your process and what makes your perspective yours.

Because people aren’t just choosing what you offer. They’re choosing who they’re trusting to bring it to life.

How many more signs do you need?
How many more days must go by before you find the courage
to take that first step toward what you’ve been envisioning for a while now?

You have to at least try.

Maybe you try it and realize the approach needs to change.
Maybe it won’t work at all.
But what if it does?

You’ve got to begin to find out.

September 1. Four months left in the year.

Still plenty of time to start the project you’ve been thinking about, plan the event, refresh your brand, or finally get those photographs you’ve been meaning to have.

There’s time. Use it.

And if photography is part of the plan, send me a DM. Let’s see what we can do together.

Think about the last time someone’s work truly spoke to you and how refreshing it felt to connect with it.

Someone out there is waiting for that exact same feeling from you. Keep showing up, keep sharing, and give them the chance to find you.

Go after the thing. Run if you have to. Build the momentum. Just don’t stand there wondering what might have happened if you tried.

Whether it’s a creative business, a new idea, or a career you’ve been thinking about, sometimes the only way forward is to start moving. And, have some fun while you’re at it. 🙌🏼✨

There’s something incredibly special about photographs. They give us the ability to return to moments we once lived and, years later, remember not just what happened, but who we were then.

The celebrations, the people we loved, the places we went, the little moments we never knew would become important.

There’s nothing more precious or meaningful than being able to recount a lifetime through photographs. Don’t you agree?

If you have a milestone coming up that you want to preserve, send me a DM. Let’s chat about documenting it in a way you’ll have for years to come.

One idea.
One attempt.
One setback.
One rejection.
One lesson.
One adjustment.
One more try.

And repeat.

Building something requires repetition, and let’s be real, this process of step and repeat can become lonely, boring, mundane and downright discouraging at times, especially when you’re wondering if you’re doing enough or if you should be further along by now.

Unfortunately, there is no way to bypass this part of the process. So perhaps the better way to find some relief is to remind ourselves that consistency isn’t the enemy. It’s the water that feeds what we want to grow.

So do whatever you must, but don’t stop watering those dreams.

Because one day, you’ll look back and realize you crossed that freaking finish line.

FINALLY! 🏁🥲🙌🏼

In our lifetime, we’ll watch people set out to create a life where the goals they made for themselves actually become reality.

Not special people. People like you and me.

So when that imposter syndrome voice starts telling you that you can’t, first shake it off, and then try to look at their accomplishments differently. Don’t let someone else’s success become evidence that you are behind. Let it be evidence that it’s possible.

Because if someone else can build the life they’ve dreamed about, there’s no reason we can’t build ours.

Being on this creative journey sometimes can be frustrating, more so when things are not working out as expected. I’ve definitely had moments where I ask the universe - what is happening here?! What isn’t working? But then I remind myself of something I want to practice: seeing everything as information.

I heard that idea on a podcast and it stuck with me. Instead of immediately deciding something isn’t working when we feel stuck, ask instead what is this trying to show me? What is it trying to teach me?

All information, positive or negative, is telling us something. Something is either working, or it isn’t. And that doesn’t mean we’ve reached a dead end. Sometimes it just means we need to pivot.

I’m learning to take a step back and think about the problem differently. I want to teach myself to see frustration not as the end, but as a point that marks an upgrade of some kind.
