KrPhotogs Photography LLC KrPhotogs My photography days go back to the 1970s – when I would shoot and develop black & white photographs of college basketball on a Pentax K100.

As the film age gave way to the digital age, I migrated to Nikon. For years I have caught the magical moments in my daughter’s figure skating career – along with watching them grow into the outstanding young ladies they are today. Today I shoot with Nikon pro equipment and lenses. I shoot all sports . but also do portrait photography as well as special events (Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Baptisms,

This year's Ladybug competition is in a new facility - 2 rinks and room for lots more skaters. Because we're part of both the Excel and Solo Dance Series, there are lots of competition opportunities in addition to free skates & short programs. But registration ends today, with late registrations accepted until March 20. Be sure to sign up on EMS before we fill up!

Last week we were in Salt Lake City for US Synchro Champs - the 9th year in a row we have photographed it (if you leave COVID out). The skaters on most teams do change, but the adult and masters team tend to remain the same. After doing the Kiss & Cry for the Starlights Adult Team, they wanted me in a picture with them. In all the years I have photographed skating, this was the first time it ever happened.

While we still have 2 events left at the 2026 Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships, this will be our last post of the day.
