🏀 Rummage Sale Fundraiser for Mattix’s Memorial Basketball Court 🧡

📅 Saturday, September 13th
🕗 Starts at 8:00 AM
📍 109 N. Murphy St, Ridgeway, IL

Our Family ,Friends and Community are coming together to honor Mattix’s memory and make his dream a reality — a basketball court where his family, friends, and future generations can gather, laugh, and play.

Every single purchase and donation will go directly toward building Mattix’s Memorial Basketball Court — a place filled with the joy and spirit he brought to all of us.

👕 What You’ll Find:
• Women’s clothing (all sizes): jeans, shirts, sweatshirts, dresses, comfy pants, dress pants, scrubs (S–L)
• Men’s & kids’ clothing in a variety of sizes
• Pajamas (4 for $1 or 25¢ each)
• Handmade jewelry & crafts by Karen
• Delicious homemade baked goods from family & friends

🎟️ Special Raffle:
Annette Pierce has generously donated seven beautiful wreaths that will be raffled off at a later date. Raffle buckets will be available at the sale to get your tickets in early!

🍋 Lemonade Stand:
Our little helpers will be serving fresh lemonade to support the cause:
• Small — 50¢
• Large — $1

💲 Prices:
• Jeans: $2 each or $10 for a sack
• Clothing: $1 each (unless marked) 5 for a sack of clothes
• Pajamas: 4 for $1

Donation buckets will also be available at the rummage location & lemonade stand.

✨ In Loving Memory of Mattix Sandifer ✨
Next week Harrisburg Nutrition will be honoring Mattix with the “Smile” drink—his favorite orange sherbet flavor. $1 from every tea sold goes to the Mattix Sandifer Memorial Fund.

Growing up, Mattix used to joke that he wanted to ask the whole world for a dollar. We are asking on his behalf—to support a cause that will honor his memory and continue his legacy: The Mattix Troy Sandifer Memorial Basketball Court in Ridgeway, Illinois. 💜

🧡 During the first week of September, Harrisburg Nutrition will honor Mattix with a special Drink of the Week called “Smile” — his favorite Orange Sherbet flavor.
• Hydration Tea – $5.44
• Loaded Tea – $8.70
($1 from every drink sold that week goes directly to the Memorial Fund)

In Loving Memory of Mattix Troy Sandifer

Help Us Build the Mattix Troy Sandifer Memorial Basketball Court

2005 – 2025
Beloved son, brother, teammate, and friend to all.

In the early hours of August 8th 2025 our hearts were shattered when we lost Mattix, a 20-year-old with a heart full of passion and a future filled with promise. He was tragically taken from us in a car accident — far too soon, and deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Mattix lived and breathed basketball. From the neighborhood court to varsity games, he played with passion, dedication, and love. More than just a player, he was a mentor to younger kids, a motivator on and off the court, and a light in the lives of his family, friends, and teammates.

Now, we want to honor his legacy in a way that reflects who he truly was. Our Mission is to raise $40,000 to renovate the public basketball court in Ridgway IL, dedicated to Mattix’s memory — a place where future generations can play, grow, and dream like he did.

Whether you knew Mattix personally or are touched by his story, your support helps ensure that his energy, joy, and love for the game live on — not just in our hearts, but in a place where others can find hope and community.
