How is it possible to feel so deeply attached to something but also ready to move on? I am someone who puts her heart & soul into everything she does, so letting go is never easy for me. I have shed more than a few tears over the years and especially during the process of closing. It may seem weird for me to be so emotional about a business, but it’s been a little over 5 years since I opened the studio. 2000 days that I have thought about it and cared for it. I have grown and the studio has too. Sometimes I cant believe how far its came since those brown walls and scratched up floors. My scenes got more elaborate over time and I learned that I have a love for designing and decorating. I have enjoyed every season and every setup I have ever done and I hope you all have too. It’s brought me so much joy to share this space with you all ✨
Im not against having a rental studio again one day, but for now Im closing shop. I’ll still be focusing on my photography business ( Sincerely, Stacy / Sincerely, Stacy Photography 🤍 ) and eventually a new little side business 👀 but maybe one day I can open soft light studios 2.0 🤪
