look at this handsome guy! I create these custom little hand felted plushies for my grow with me photography clients. With permission to share, I created the lion for this sweet little boy a symbol of bravery. His his first days were spent with cancer and as you can see he is recovering and is a bright shining light. I’m so happy for him and his family and I’m so proud to be a part of preserving these precious people and moments for families to be shared for generations. Photography is an art but it’s more than that. It’s a special way to honor and remember important people. over a month ago I had expressed an idea that I had to take photographs that are inspired by early 20th century images of families in front of their homes. My cousin Angelique, reached out to book a session of her own. Not many clients of mine request photos in places that are familiar or important to them personally. We usually go to settings that are interesting or pretty, but unrelated to them in any way. I had a blast capturing these precious fleeting moments of their daughter and getting to know them both. I hope to do more of these as I feel like our homes and families are where our hearts are.

Some of you may recognize this lovely human being. I've known Traci since Kindergarten with Mrs. Mann at Elmwood elementary in Naperville, Illinois. We go back now over 40 years now. I'm so honored to have been able to capture these sundown photos of her and her family in front of their home just a few days before their anniversary. Thank you, Traci, for taking an interest in my at home photo session. It was a pleasure meeting your family and taking a moment to make these memories for you all. I hope you cherish them for generations to come. Home and Family is where the heart Is.

Please help me welcome Arthur. He's absolutely a beautiful little Fighter. This special guy came into this world facing quite the battle. Some of you may remember a post I had made a wile back of a special custom felted lion that I crafted for him. Well here he is. I created this tiny hand-felted lion for Arthur and his family

This little lion holds a gold heart close to his chest, a symbol of neuroblastoma awareness and the fierce love that surrounds this brave baby. The lion itself stands for courage—because even the tiniest warriors can show the greatest strength.

My hope is that this small creation and these photos brings a bit of comfort, love, and light to his journey. 💛🦁
