FIVE often overlooked wedding secrets:
- Practice bustling your dress. Have your MOH and Mom practice this as well, especially if you have many layers.
- Have a talk with whoever is going to fix your dress and veil before you walk down the aisle. Make sure they know to fix and move (or else they'll be in every single one of your walking down the aisle shots). Same advice goes for the mistress of ceremonies/coordinator that is sending in the wedding party. Send them in, start the Bride down the aisle and then move.
- Make sure Mom doesn't have to sit on the front row alone during the ceremony. Mom needs a hand to hold, some tissues and someone sitting next to her.
- Make sure your photographer has built in "Be fully dressed" times for your Bridesmaids, Mom of Bride, Groom, Groomsmen and Parent's of the Groom. 15-25 minutes ahead of picture time is the key. And "fully dressed" means....having those boutonnieres on and ties tied.
- Leave adequate space between the first row of chairs and where the wedding party will stand. If they are too close, your view is limited and you're basically on top of one another.
