Okay I need your honest opinion on this 🤍

I had originally planned to offer Mommy & Me “Paint With Me” minis… but after announcing my maternity leave, my schedule filled up way faster than I expected and I’ve booked 20+ sessions since then.

Right now, the only date I have open before Mother’s Day is April 19th. Which I’ve had blocked for these minis but kept forgetting to post them because I have so much on my plate right now. 🫠

I know that’s super soon, so before I spend the time putting everything together, I wanted to ask… who is seriously interested in booking for that day on such a short notice?

If it’s something you’d love, let me know 🤍 If not, I’ll plan to bring them back at a later time this year when things slow down a bit!

A little life update… we’re having a baby girl 🤍

I’m so excited, but I also wanted to share what this means for my schedule. I will be on maternity leave from July 1 – October 1.

Right now, my calendar is filling up very quickly. Weekends are almost fully booked with only a few openings left here and there. If you’re hoping to get in before my leave, I would reach out as soon as possible.

And if you’re thinking about fall photos, I’d still recommend booking early, October is already starting to fill.

I’ll also be honest… if I’ve been slower to respond lately, it’s because I’ve been in the thick of pregnancy exhaustion while keeping up with my boys and a very busy business. I promise I’m not ignoring anyone, just doing my best to keep up in this season 🤍

Just a quick but important reminder when it comes to booking with me 🤍

Your session is not officially booked until your contract is signed and your retainer is paid, unless we have otherwise communicated different arrangements.

Submitting an inquiry or messaging me does not hold your spot on my calendar. I send everything needed to complete your booking right away, but it does have to be finished on your end to secure your date.

If you’ve booked with me before or are a friend/family member and I haven’t always sent this process in the past, please don’t feel like this is directed at you. I’m just working on being more consistent moving forward so everything runs smoothly for everyone.

I’m a pretty laid-back person and I don’t love having to be assertive, but this has become something I need to be really clear about to avoid any confusion or disappointment.

Also, if you’ve messaged me and haven’t heard back, please don’t hesitate to reach out again. I promise you are not bothering me.

I receive messages through Facebook, Instagram, email, text message, my personal Facebook and Instagram page, and my booking site, and sometimes things can get missed. Email or my booking site is always the best way to reach me, but I’m always happy to help however you reach out.

Counting down to May with these two 🫶🏼

Okay friends, I’ve just about finalized my mini sessions for the year 🤍 once I complete this, I’ll be posting my annual mini session bundle giveaway!

As of right now, here’s what I’m planning:

• Lamb minis (already fully booked 🥹 thank you!!)
• Calf sessions, super relaxed, go-with-the-flow style. Nothing overly styled, just sweet, natural interaction with the calf (honestly sometimes those end up being the best moments)
• Mommy & Me “Paint With Me” sessions
• Ice cream minis this summer
• Fourth of July minis
• Fall minis
• Christmas minis (family + Santa)

I had mentioned personality minis a few months ago, but I’m thinking about switching directions and offering heirloom portraits instead. If you haven’t seen those before, let me know and I can drop some examples in the comments!

I’d love your feedback on a couple things:
• Would you prefer heirloom portraits or personality minis?
• How do we feel about the Paint With Me Mommy & Me sessions?

Okay y’all… tell me if I’ve officially lost it 😂

As if lamb minis aren’t enough, we’ve got all kinds of babies on the farm right now, baby chicks, bottle baby lambs, and a bottle calf and now I’m over here wondering if calf sessions would be something y’all would actually be interested in.

Before I put in the work to get one really comfortable for pictures, I wanted to ask first. And if I did it… what kind of setup would y’all want to see? Simple and natural? Farm style? Springy and sweet? I wanna hear your thoughts.

Pictures is of my son almost 4 years ago 😭😭
