This is now the third time that I've seen my photography used with my watermark cropped out and absolutely no credit to me as the photographer, especially when the photos were done as a curtesy. So unfortunately, to demand respect for my own hard work and ten years of experience, I will now begin making my watermark more invasive in photos.
I'm sad it's come to this point, but it is necessary. "Free photography" does not denounce the work I put into getting the good shot, getting it edited, and getting it out to the client in such a timely manner. I deserve better behavior from clients, without having to ask for it persistently.

Friday, I had the pleasure of attending the birthday party of a little boy that I photographed a few weeks ago! The turnout went so well and it was lovely to see how many people cared about this sweet baby. Instead of a cake smash, the family decided to do a barbecue smash. I adore this whole photo set- barbecue sauce and watermelon juice galore. Happy first Birthday, James. And thank you to the family for allowing me to be there for it!
