Guys. If you’re anything like us, you're doing everything you can to get over the hump.

Whether that hill you're climbing is emotional, sickness, financial, whatever; the best way over it is to meet it head on.. so we decided now was as good a time as any to sharpen our creative sword.
Sometimes we get so focused on getting everything “just right” that we forget what sets us apart.

Yesterday we decided to tackle the hill the only way you should; in 105 degree heat index august in Mississippi style.
I wouldn’t recommend. 😆😆

But after leaving this shoot nearly in tears over what we thought was a lack of images, feeling bad we got our wonderful Bailey so hot and dragging our amazing Makeup by Abbey Elizabeth out in the heatwave, we finally took a breath and looked at what we did.
I’m proud to say I can look at these and say the struggle is worth it.

Like so many winding journeys through tough times, if we’ll just take the time to look up, we’ll see there’s always something to be proud of.

And here we are again, wondering what’s going to happen next.

All the brides that have moved two or three times, and finally settled on Fall dates this year are now shuffling and watching numbers, again.
Vendors are trying to keep things going where possible, again.
General population is not being so nice, again.
And some are being straight up heroes.
Schools are doing virtual, or closing for short periods. And folks are trying to balance home and work life, again

But we are, yet again, so thankful for the ones that are powering through, doing their part, being flexible and communicating.
Whether you’re trying to plan a wedding or just trying to keep your family safe, we’re right there with you 💖

Here’s to hoping we’ll be dancing in the streets with you very soon 😘

Can you explain to me how it can be 93°, (feels like 200 😅) mixed with fresh humidity after a downpour, *bonus* mosquitoes the size of pterodactyls…. And two people can still be this friggin cute?

Cause I saw the test shots of ME in that scenario (🥴🥴)
