If you’ve messaged me recently and I’ve been slower to respond, this is why.
Life in this season is beautifully full. I have a four-month-old at home, and my “baby” turns three on Friday. I’ve recently returned to my full-time position as a nurse at the cancer center four days a week, and I’m finishing up nurse practitioner school.
I’ve always been someone who stretches myself thin because I truly love everything I do — photography included. But in this season, I need to be honest with myself about my capacity.
For now, I will not be taking on any additional sessions outside of those already booked or previously scheduled mini sessions.
Right now, my focus needs to be on being fully present — as a mom, wife, at home, for my patients, and for myself as I finish this final stretch toward becoming a nurse practitioner.
This is temporary, and I do not plan to step away from photography completely. Amber Ridlon Photography is still very much part of me — just at a slower, more intentional pace for this season.
During this time, I am happy to recommend some other great local photographers who can capture those special moments for you!
Thank you all for the continued love, support, and understanding. It truly means more than you know 🤍
Xo,
Amber
