The light + this mama-to-be we're absolute perfection last night not to post in a permanent spot on the gram!

Busy season has officially kicked off and boy did it come in hot and fast!

Last Saturday was spent with tiny dancers doing studio costume photos followed by a meet up with one of my fav families for their annual session, and then this beautiful mama and her baby bumps last night.

May and June are now completely full and I'm only keeping room for reschedules and newborns at this time.

July still has a little bit of availability and August weekends are CLOSED but weeknights are still available.

Last night was magical 🪄

Jordan reached out a few months back and her words were, "we want to do a wedding anniversary reshoot. We got ONE photo from our wedding 10 years ago"

So naturally I wanted to bring it for her and make this shoot amazing and fun. And we did just that! We laughed, we ran, we even got in the water!

Happy 10 years to the Wolfes ❤️ I hope the next ten are just as wild and crazy as the first ten! 😆

These faces belong in a permanent space on the grid ❤️

There are some people that come into your lives and you feel like you've known them...REALLY known them for eternity. Their milestones become your milestones, their heartache becomes your heartache, their dreams becomes your dreams.

The Hiles are those kinds of people.

I've technically known Jamie Jo and Erik since high school....as much as you can know anyone you shared the same high school walls with and small town.

But in the last few years, I've gotten to cry with them, laugh with them, hug them...and best of all, follow their journey into parenthood with little Miss Lucy.

Lately, my faith has quietly been tested....I've been questioning a lot of things.
"What kind of Christian am I?"

"Do I have to be a loud Christian like so many others?"

"Am I just following a trend to go to church or is it ok for "my church" to be Sunday mornings on my porch talking to God?"

And then I see these 3...and I recall the entirety of their journey to get to this photo.

Lucy is what we call a "unicorn baby." She's literally perfect.

And the second she looks at you with those big blue eyes that seem to hold all the hope and joy in the world. And you watch how her mom and dad interact with her, it's like a reminder from God for me saying, "hey, I'm here in these moments....quietly, I'm here"

If Joy from my photoshoots and clients was payment, I'd be a millionaire just off this one session 🥰
