Kindergarten graduation…
I swear no one prepares you for how emotional this one hits.
It’s “just kindergarten” to everyone else,
but to me its my last baby...
The year he learned letters, numbers, how to stand in line…
I watched him learn how to be brave without me,
how to walk into a room on his own,
how to become a little more independent every single day.
And I’m so proud…
but also… when did that happen?
Everyone says “this is just the beginning”
but nobody talks about how it also feels like the end of something too.
The end of the baby years quietly slipping away.
So yeah… I’m clapping, I’m cheering…
but I’m also sitting here wondering how did we get here so fast!?

Our boy is off to first grade and we had to document this time and bonus with his best bud!
