This weekend I enjoyed spending time with the Kliegl family and capturing some special moments for them. Saturday evening was their family reunion at the park and the weather finally cleared for sunny skies to brighten their gathering. Sunday morning, we snapped some photos at the Kliegl home with all the kids, puppy, kitty, and grand puppy all there! A wonderful family!

Do you or someone you know have a historic home or farmstead that has seen better days? Would you like to get it memorialized in photos before it's gone? Do you have a restored place that reflects the beauty of its historic period? I would love to get permission to photograph an aging homestead or building, either in town or in the country, for a project to capture our historic places before they are just a memory. I can photograph both outside and, if possible, the interior portions of the buildings. Buildings don't have to be residential houses. They can be old schools, churches, and businesses. All stages of historic beauty, from restored glory to rustic ruins, are my subjects for this project. I have been considering this project for several years now, and this summer is the time!

Spent a wonderful afternoon with the Kliegl family as they enjoyed a short reunion with all the Kliegl daughters at home this weekend. It was a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon for photos by the lake. Such a beautiful family!
