If You know these two, you know what it feels like to be loved…
Their door is always open. The couch is always cozy. The meals are always rich. The conversations are deep. The love is unconditional. The sense of belonging is unmatched.
It only makes sense that this world brought them together so many years ago. To be a light. To be a warm place for people to land. To make people feel loved, known and at home.

Senior Sunday… but for the elderly! 😅😁🤪
I’ve been sitting on these precious photos for a few weeks because I couldn’t come up with a caption. I was too busy thinking about sentimental things. Like how I love taking photos of my parents but that I know these photos will have more and more meaning the more time passes. But ya know what… sometimes people just need a short and funny caption and this popped into my head and boom 💥. Here are the photos 🤣

Guys!! I have great news!
As you may know from my stories, I traveled to Alaska without my computer. I didn’t want to be sucked into editing every night on a computer while I’m here with family and nature. But I’ve realized it’s almost torture to not be able to edit when I know I’m getting such beautiful photos. 😬😵‍💫
Here’s where the great news comes in…. I found out I can transfer photos from my Fuji directly to my phone! 🙌

I know I’ve said it before- but I have to say it again…
What an honor it is to be invited into peoples homes to document their families in this season of life.
It just feels so special to have photos done in the space you call home. It will always remind you of what these days felt like. You’ll remember the cute little details like the new fish pond you made, the bench your husband built, the rose bush your kids knocked over when playing football, the wallpaper that broke you and the love that wrapped all these memories together.
It’s the little details and moments that make mommas look back and not only remember- but FEEL.
I had so much fun documenting Lauren, Shane and there 4 beautiful kids. The whole time it just felt like I was along for a family fun night.

Sunshine in human form.
You know how sometimes just being next to a human makes you feel like a better person? That’s this momma and her girls. They are literally walking sunshine wherever they go. ☀️
Sometimes I feel intimidated shooting portraits in a studio- because I’m so used to being outside. So this was really fun to try it again along side other creatives. and created a beautiful environment to ask questions, slow down, intentional colors and absolutely stunning florals to top it all off. It was an honor to photograph this family next to some of the best.
