Almost a year ago Zach was scrolling Zillow, his favorite pass time, and saw my childhood lavender farm was for sale! Obviously the listing was sent to the family group chat and we decided to go to the open house that weekend. It was like stepping back in timeโฆ expect the place was completely overgrown, trees had fallen down, the pond that was once there was nothing more than weeds and overgrown cheatgrass. It was pretty disheartening to say the least!
BUT
The sweetest couple was also walking around. Tears flowing as we ended up talking to them about how life on the farm. The farm would be a huge leap for them but they felt drawn to it. Through the craziest story of ups and downs, they officially became the new owners of the farm. It felt so good knowing it was going to a family who was going to LOVE the farm like we did. And BOY, have they done that. Every time I go over there something new has been done. They are bringing the farm back to life- not as a lavender farm but a flower farm. Itโs stunning. I cannot WAIT until next year when people have the opportunity to experience the farm once more! Obviously family photos were a must, I just love this family and Iโm so thankful for the farms new chapter.
