Another AMAZING Rivers Casino wedding in the books! Morgan and Rielly had such a meaningful and emotional day and tears were shed by all. We were once again forced indoors by the weather, but the beautiful casino rotunda makes for an excellent substitute for being outside with the huge windows pouring in light and making it feel like we were right on the water. We laughed, we remembered those who are no longer with us, and we danced (these two have a superb taste in music!). Congratulations Morgan & Rielly- here’s to many many happy decades to come! ❤️📸

Whew! After rescheduling twice due to rain, Meg and Dan said “we’re making this happen” so when the wildfire smoke rolled in, we rolled up to Phipps (and the Alice in Wonderland exhibit) and let me tell you, it was a dream! These two completely exemplified what it means to be yourselves and put your personality in my prompts. We twirled, danced, and ran through the observatory (tactfully avoiding the more “out there” exhibits. lol) while the hazy air brought a unique color and feel to the session that almost feels like film. Meg and Dan are tying the knot at .woods next summer and they are a VIBE. Check out this artistic session that’s one of my new favorites. Meg & Dan- I cannot WAIT to explore the woods with you next year! 📸❤️

I had the best evening running around downtown with Carly and Kyle! It was a beautiful sunny evening and these two humored all of my weird requests like crawling in roadside weeds and battling their fear of heights by climbing on a bridge. All I can say is WOW! Allie & Jacob made the trip back home from the west coast and we took advantage of (once again) a very rainy day to visit the museum. We made some art among the art before going to dance in the rain at Mellon Park. We also got to visit the very cool geology exhibit since Jacob is a geologist! Such unique photos in a new part of the museum for me! I loved spending time with these two and I can’t wait for their wedding at Phipps next year!
Congratulations Allie & Jacob! You two are the sweetest!

Fun fact- I met their moms before I met them! They sent their moms to do recon at the Cavanaugh’s bridal show and the rest is history!

I have no words! But I’ll try! I’ve been looking forward to Taylor & Jake’s wedding since their engagement session last year. They not only crushed their photos, but I loved their energy. They bring that beautiful high school sweetheart vibes that I love so much. I was also so excited to photograph at the stunning Willow and I was not disappointed! For the first time in a while, rain didn’t make an appearance and we were gifted with sunny skies and golden light all day. I had SO much fun with them and their crew. I feel like almost every wedding post so far this year has begun with some version of “despite the rain, the couple didn’t let it get them down” and Jordan and Ethan’s wedding day was no exception! In the midst of one of the rainiest years I can remember, these two went with it, pivoted, and had a beautiful day! Even though I love golden hour, rainy days have such a unique and cinematic quality to them. Perfect for lots of snuggles and dramatic lifts. We even got a bit of a break from the grey day at sunset and we got a little glow. Jordan and Ethan, I’ve loved working with you this past year and am so happy for you both! Each wedding this weekend had such distinct character and Emily & Ethan’s was no exception. Just look at Emily’s wedding gown! That gown set the tone for the entire day which was a stunning floral filled garden party. Emily and Ethan are the cutest, sweetest couple who met in high school and never looked back. I quite literally have no words for the first photo on this post. When your bride and groom are both athletes and are confident doing more extreme stunts on their wedding day, AND you’re on an iconic Pittsburgh bridge, you get them climbing. Lauren & John, what an epic, purely Pittsburgh wedding day! We had a classic Pittsburgh church (with a PETAL DROP from the ceiling), classic Pittsburgh bridges and skyline, and some classic Pittsburgh weather. In between on and off rain (that once again was not in the forecast!) we got some INCREDIBLE photos. Just look at Lauren’s magnetic smile- it’s so contagious and we were all wearing one all day long. Angela & Brandon had what was likely the most beautiful and perfect wedding day weather of the year so far. The sun was shining bright all day, the vibes were immaculate, and love was in the air. Although I wasn’t able to be there myself (our baby Logan decided to make an early arrival!) my trusted team of Kacie & Rebecca knocked this day out of the park! Every time I checked in throughout the day, the report was that it was “perfect!” It was such a relief to have them able to step in and know everything would run smoothly. Angela & Brandon- congratulations!!! I wish you both every happiness in the world. Thank you for sharing your joy with us! 📸❤️
