Sydney and Danny blew me away at their engagement session! These two look like they belong in front of my lens (despite them assuring me they were “awkward”!). I had so much fun on a beautiful evening at Hartwood Acres putting them through their paces. This is one of my favorite parts of this job. Could Rachel & Jeff be any more beautiful?! What a wedding day they had! I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a couple have more fun or take the time to really soak in their day than these two. While photos were important to them, they also wanted to spend time with their guests and on the dance floor and not taking pictures the whole day. So instead of one large block of photos, I prioritized getting as much done in short bursts as possible. I also took advantage of small moments like walking to and from the photo locations to maximize the time. The rain once again decided to make an appearance, which thankfully didn’t join us until later in the evening. As a result, all of their couple’s photos took less than 15 minutes total while still getting a huge variety! Rachel & Jeff then got to boogie down on one of the most fun and wild dance floors I’ve ever seen! Rachel & Jeff, I am so so happy for you both and am grateful you chose me to document your special day. I hope it was everything you hoped for and more! Words can’t express the perfection of Saturday when Bella and Austin, two beautiful and kind high school sweethearts, began the next chapter of their story. I’ve been so excited for this day for over a year, since I met Bella at a wedding show (shout out to !) and heard her vision. Her and Austin got engaged in Italy and instead of having a destination wedding overseas, they chose a little slice of Europe in Pittsburgh. The Hartwood mansion was a perfect backdrop for this elegant and stunning day. I loved every minute of this day, laughed so much, and relaxed because we had a killer vendor team taking care of every detail. Bella and Austin- congratulations!!! I hope this day was everything you dreamed it would be and more. Enjoy these first few days of married life, this sneak peek, and your honeymoon!!! ❤️📸

Rachael & Jared had hands-down one of the most unique, stylish, and fun days that was so “them” that I can remember. The way they infused themselves in to this historic venue was so cool. From Rachael’s all-lace gown and veil with blusher (chosen to surprise Jared), the glamor portrait of their cat Henrietta taking center stage, a tiny minion on the back of their cake, taking time to relax and connect with each other during dinner, to entering the reception to the Imperial March, they made this day completely their own. I was amazed by their connection, love, and respect for each other which was so apparent all day. Rachael & Jared, you two are incredible. I hope you had the day of your dreams and congratulations! Cameron’s first question was “can I put her on my shoulders?” and I knew it was ON. Morgan and Cameron had one of the most fun sessions I can remember. We chased, raced, spun, lifted, pinkie swore, and even had a thumb war. And of course, Morgan got up on his shoulders. This session is the definition of “trust the process”. Even when my prompts seem a bit weird, giving in to them 1000% gives us the most amazing results. I feel their connection in every frame. Morgan & Cameron- you two rocked this session and I can’t wait for your wedding at in September!!! 📸❤️

A golden evening with Alana & Will ☀️
The Hartwood Meadow was showing off for us and bursting with wildflowers. We even got a surprise bit of golden hour sun as we laughed, popped champagne, and frolicked among the yellow blooms. Another AMAZING Rivers Casino wedding in the books! Morgan and Rielly had such a meaningful and emotional day and tears were shed by all. We were once again forced indoors by the weather, but the beautiful casino rotunda makes for an excellent substitute for being outside with the huge windows pouring in light and making it feel like we were right on the water. We laughed, we remembered those who are no longer with us, and we danced (these two have a superb taste in music!). Congratulations Morgan & Rielly- here’s to many many happy decades to come! ❤️📸

Whew! After rescheduling twice due to rain, Meg and Dan said “we’re making this happen” so when the wildfire smoke rolled in, we rolled up to Phipps (and the Alice in Wonderland exhibit) and let me tell you, it was a dream! These two completely exemplified what it means to be yourselves and put your personality in my prompts. We twirled, danced, and ran through the observatory (tactfully avoiding the more “out there” exhibits. lol) while the hazy air brought a unique color and feel to the session that almost feels like film. Meg and Dan are tying the knot at .woods next summer and they are a VIBE. Check out this artistic session that’s one of my new favorites. Meg & Dan- I cannot WAIT to explore the woods with you next year! 📸❤️

I had the best evening running around downtown with Carly and Kyle! It was a beautiful sunny evening and these two humored all of my weird requests like crawling in roadside weeds and battling their fear of heights by climbing on a bridge. All I can say is WOW! Allie & Jacob made the trip back home from the west coast and we took advantage of (once again) a very rainy day to visit the museum. We made some art among the art before going to dance in the rain at Mellon Park. We also got to visit the very cool geology exhibit since Jacob is a geologist! Such unique photos in a new part of the museum for me! I loved spending time with these two and I can’t wait for their wedding at Phipps next year!
Congratulations Allie & Jacob! You two are the sweetest!

Fun fact- I met their moms before I met them! They sent their moms to do recon at the Cavanaugh’s bridal show and the rest is history!
