The Enterprise Wolves came out a little shaky in the first half of the 2A State Championship game. Layton Christian hit several three pointers in the second quarter to pull away to quite a comfortable lead going into the half being up 21 points. However, Enterprise came out the second half and played fantastic basketball. They were able to cut the lead down to 5 points with 40 seconds left in the game. Time just ran out on them though. It was a great season and that second half showed what a great and special team this was.

The Enterprise Lady Wolves ended their season playing rival Beaver in the state tournament. It was another nail biter that went down the last minute, but the Wolves weren't able to pull out the victory. The girls had a great season and they were fun to watch. Sad it's over, but happy for the effort and time they put in to make it a great season.

The Enterprise Wolves played a great game against Beaver. They jumped out to an early lead and played outstanding defense the whole game. Beaver played some great defense as well and held the Wolves to only 4 points in the second quarter allowing them to tie the game at 17 a piece at halftime. In the second half the Wolves were able to build a little lead again, but could never quite pull away making for an exciting finish. Key free throws down the stretch by Breckon Nelson and Tyler Hiatt were able to seal the win for the Wolves. They will now face Layton Christian today at 6:45 for the state championship.

The Enterprise Lady Wolves defeated the Wasatch Academy Tigers to advance to the 5th/6th place game in the consolation bracket. They played a strong game jumping out to an early lead. The Tigers made a big run in the second quarter to close out the half and only trail by 1 point. The Lady Wolves however came out strong again in the 3rd quarter and shut down the Tigers to pull away. Enterprise advances to face another region foe in Beaver tomorrow at 10 AM.

The Enterprise Lady Wolves played a tough game against their region foe Kanab in the quarterfinals of the state tournament. The two teams had split their regions games during the season. This time however, Enterprise fell behind in the first half and never could quite erase the deficit despite a strong third quarter as Kanab was able to hold onto the lead they had built in the first half. The Lady Wolves will continue play in the consolation bracket.

The Enterprise Wolves defeated the North Summit Braves to make it to the semifinals in the Utah 2A Boys State Basketball Tournament. This is the second consecutive season that the Wolves have knocked out the Braves from the tournament. They will now face Beaver in a rematch of last years state championship game with the winner going onto the state championship game for the second consecutive year. The Wolves and Beavers have played each other twice this year with each team winning their home games. It looks to be like another exciting game tonight at 7 PM at the Sevier Valley Center with the winner going on to play for the championship.

The Enterprise Wolves were able to hold off American Heritage in the second round of the boys 2A Utah State Tournament. They will now play North Summit on Monday at 9:30 AM at the Sevier Valley Center in Richfield. It looks to be a great matchup of the 4 seed Wolves from Enterprise against the 5 seed Braves from North Summit. The Braves will look to revenge the loss to the Wolves in the second round of the state tournament last year when they last met. Enterprise will try to continue its run to a second consecutive state championship game and hopefully bring home the championship this year. They made it to the championship game last year before falling to Beaver.

The Enterprise Lady Wolves Basketball team defeated the North Sevier Wolves in the second round of the girls 2A Utah State Tournament. Enterprise will go on to play Kanab at the Sevier Valley Center on Monday at 4:10 PM. This will be the third matchup between the teams this year with each team winning on their own court. This game is set to be a great matchup on a neutral court to see who will advance to the Semifinals.

Terry Bowler was honored during halftime of the 2A Boys State Championship game last night by being inducted into the Utah Coaching Hall of Fame. During his coaching years he developed a perennial powerhouse for the baseball program at Enterprise High School. His teams took 1st at state 9 times and holds the record for most state championships in a row at 5. While coaching, his teams were able to set the state record for consecutive wins at 64 and they also had another run of 50 wins which is good for fourth on the all time list. He also coached wrestling and enjoyed that as well. He was a great coach and it was great to see him recognized for his accomplishments throughout his coaching career. Thanks Mr. Bowler for all you did for the Enterprise community!

The Enterprise Wolves girls basketball team had a great showing at the state tournament. After losing the first game to North Summit they were able to win their next two games to take 5th place. Here are some pictures from their final game against Draper APA.

The Enterprise Wolves boys basketball team had a great season. Even though they fell just a little short of taking first place at state they were still able to accomplish so much and finished second. Congratulations to all the players and coaches for your accomplishments this years and thanks for all the hard work you put into the season to make it a fun one to watch! The Enterprise Wolves jumped out early on the North Sevier Wolves in a battle of the Wolves to see who would play for the 2A state championship today. After building a lead in the first quarter, Enterprise was able to hold on the rest of the way to earn a trip to the championship game against Beaver tonight at 7:00.
