SENIORS:
It’s your time to shine right now by soaking in those last few moments of high school. It’s a time to laugh, have fun, and overcoming your EXTREME case of senioritis plaguing you so you can finish off on the right note. One thing not to forget in this crazy season are cap and gown portraits (or senior portraits if you haven’t taken those). The idea of it may seem small, but the closing to this chapter of life is something that you want to capture. It’ll allow you to look back on this big moment years from now!

I had the pleasure of spending my Valentine’s Day with these two and what a fun way to spend it. They were very fun to be around and we shared some good laughs yesterday! I wouldn’t have wanted to spend my evening any other way!

Yesterday morning, Mikyla and I did a fifteen minute photoshoot before she had to leave later that afternoon. I’m sad to see her leaving, but I’m excited to see what doors open for her in the next part of her journey. I can’t wait to see you soon, Miki.

I had the best time working with Bree. This session was filled with a ton of laughter and jamming to Elevation Worship. She was truly up for anything. Bree got up bright and early to get to our session and sat in dewy grass. I’m so glad I can finally share these with you all.

over the christmas break, i decided to take some self portraits and i finally showed them to my friend, sydney, this week. she looks at me and says, “why aren’t these posted?!” so here i am posting them.

when miss enterprise asks you to take her girls’ club portraits, you take her girls’ club portraits. it was an absolute pleasure taking maleigha and jonathan’s pictures. they were so lively and goofy. we laughed a ton.

on sunday, i had the opportunity to take a close friend’s christmas portraits. they were the best to work with! i absolutely love how they turned out!

emily and i struggled to find a date that both of us would be free for her giveaway session, but over the thanksgiving holiday, we were able to get it done! i’m so satisfied with the way these images turned out!

hi guys! my name is makayla! i am a senior at enterprise high school (go cats!) i’ve been snapping pictures for as long as i can remember. my dad finally “gave” me his camera for my 15th birthday and i haven’t stopped since.

some fun facts about me:
1. i am in the unisex show choir group at my school and i participate avidly in the theater department. both are my happy places at school.
2. a majority of my diet is vegan! i don’t eat any meat! my dairy is limited to ice cream and maybe milk in a rare coffee splurge.
3. i am a HUGE book nerd! i read a ton. i read the harry potter series in a month. i’ll read just about anything and everything.

i just wanted to share with you all a bit i am. i’m always behind the camera, so you don’t get to see much of me. drop a fun fact or two below about yourself!

as of friday night, i have business cards! they have some of your amazing faces on the back! this was the next step for me to make my business (it still feels weird to call it one) legitimate. i just want to hand them out to anyone and everyone.

on thursday, i was in complete shock when i saw ashley come out of her car in this beautiful gown. she looked absolutely stunning and i’m grateful i could capture those moments. happy late birthday ash!

on sunday afternoon, i had the chance to take these gorgeous portraits of aubrey. her only request was for one of the locations to be at a sunflower field. i think it went pretty well!
