This past Thursday we took it to Toth Stage Field for Common Core family day with the Coxes! I haven't had the opportunity to photograph here in a little while and I was nervous about the weather forecast, but these photos just hit the sweet spot! The love and silliness between these two made my job ten times easier. I think Common Core will always have a special place in my heart, because that's where I first started my photography career here at Fort Rucker.

Flight school is filled with so many emotions and ups and downs along the way. Family Day and Graduation are your time to reflect on all these emotions and finally celebrate all you have overcome at your time here at Fort Rucker. Keeping up with The Jones last Thursday was the motto of the day! First Lieutenant Joshua Jones is officially an Apache Pilot. It was truly such an honor to meet this soldier's beautiful extended family and witness all of the love and support that they showered him with. Moments like these are exactly why I do what I do. I cannot even begin to list the number of times I smiled while taking photographs last week. Witnessing so much pride and love for your soldier is something that will never get old for me. It is such a privilege being asked to capture these once-in-a-lifetime memories.

The Apache flight line felt hotter than Hell's Kitchen today and I'm currently basking in aloe after sun, but it was SO worth it!

Last week was a busy week for me. I had kidney surgery Tuesday, then jumped right into an Apache Family day on Wednesday, followed by TWO flight school graduations on Thursday! To say I'm pooped would be an understatement. However, I want my clients to know that I am extremely dedicated to what I do and I absolutely love it. Wednesday was a scorcher at Hanchey, but you better believe we were able to share laughs while sweating our butts off. I am so thankful that I was able to do these sessions for the Barr Family after photographing the newest addition to their family earlier this year. It means so much to me that I'm able to build relationships with my clients and get to know them beyond surface level. If you choose me as your photographer, we are guaranteed to have a good time.
