I’m excited to announce I am now offering Bo***ir sessions!

Due to the nature of these types of sessions and the content being more “mature” I will not share these sessions publicly nor will I operate under the same name. Little Bird Photography is family friendly and will remain so.

I have created a private group that is for WOMEN only. I don’t have a name yet but will figure out all the details eventually.

If you’ve been considering this type of session I highly recommend it! It was so much fun and such a confidence boost for this gorgeous mama!

Jen Jordan is one of my favorite photographers. She was right there by my side for my first homecoming photography shoot when I was so nervous. She’s already booked for when Wes returns from deployment.

She posts a lot of great things, but this is the one. The one I needed. That made me feel all the feels.

Pretty in pink 💕🎀 Newborn sessions are a lot of work! The dream is to some day have a studio space large enough that I don’t have to tear everything down after each session. Until then, I’m just falling in love with the tiny babies more and more.

Doing something I haven’t done before.

Here’s a little before and after. The before is straight out of camera. That’s what the RAW image looks like. The after is my take on editing. I have also included a few presets with light tweaks so you can see how different an image can look based on the editing style. I do not use presets but I do have some from when I was trying to figure out my style. Each image is hand edited by either me or my lovely editor! 🥰

I am a “light and airy” photographer. What does that mean exactly? My final photos will be light and bright with softer tones in the background but more contrast on my subjects. I prefer cooler tones as well. If you’re looking for a dark and moody vibe or very warm photos, I am not your girl and that’s OKAY!

The beautiful thing about photography is that it’s subjective. It’s an art and each artist has their own style that makes them unique.

Photography often feels like an over saturated market, and it is! However, that’s a great thing for photographers and clients alike! It helps challenge us to set ourselves apart with our style and to really hone in on a specialty. For clients, you have LOTS of options to find the perfect fit for you!

I’m not sure why I’m sharing all of that. I think I’m in my feelings today and wanted to share a little bit of my passion with you all. ❤️

First session since going back to work full time was a dream! This is my happy place in San Diego! It’s my absolute favorite place to shoot!

This family is also a great example of perfectly planned outfits for a session! I’ll be creating a styling guide in the near future and this session will for sure be in it! GREAT job mama!
