CONGRATULATIONS Armin & Regina!!! 💍✨

Surprise proposals still get my heart racing after all these years! This one was something special.

Armin flew in from Pittsburgh. Regina flew in from Pittsburgh. Her parents flew in from Guatemala. Her sister and her boyfriend came all the way from Germany. Every detail, every mile, every effort was intentional and filled with so much love.

And what makes this even more beautiful…The exact spot Armin chose without even knowing…was the same place Regina once brought her grandmother years ago. You can’t plan moments like that!

Armin, Amy (Regina’s cousin) and I were behind the scenes making this happen. Videos, maps, pins, all the details to make sure the moment was seamless and unforgettable. And Amy…you are a ROCKSTAR! Truly could not have done this without you!

I love getting to help bring these moments to life. When a man puts this much thought, care, and intention into asking the biggest question of his life…it hits different!

Syl & Ashley are officially my LARGEST sneak peek recipients 😂👏🏾 and honestly…it makes perfect sense. When you’re both photographers, creative directors, visionaries, and pioneers…you don’t just plan a wedding, you design an experience!!

Every detail was intentional. Every moment had style. Every frame had meaning.

They trusted me with digital, film, and Super 8 which meant your girl showed up LOADED. 35mm, 120, Super 8…all the toys came out 🤭 and with the help of my assistant Moriah (my real MVP because I would’ve absolutely passed out carrying all that gear hahaha), we captured this day in every texture and tone possible.

This day felt like art in motion. And being surrounded by a vendor team that truly CRUSHED it made it that much sweeter!

GO TO YOUR COCKTAIL HOUR!!!!

Hot take…but skipping cocktail hour on your wedding day is one of the biggest missed opportunities!

You spend months planning a day centered around love, people, connection…and then disappear during the one part of the day where everything is the most effortless, joyful, and alive.

Cocktail hour is where the magic breathes!!

No posing. No prompting. No pressure.

Just hugs that linger, laughter that spills over, your people all in one place, and you actually getting to experience it.

It’s where:
• your college friends meet your family
• your parents exhale and celebrate you
• your guests feel seen because you’re present with them

And selfishly…it’s where some of the most real, emotional, joy-filled images happen!

You get to eat. You get to sip. You get to laugh. You get to be held and celebrated!

Now yes…summer weddings naturally have more daylight to work with, and winter timelines can feel tighter. But even then, there is always a way to build a timeline that gives you space to show up here. It just takes intention and the right flow of the day.

I AM UNWELL!!! 🤯🎞️✨

Just got my first batch of rolls back from my Contax G1 + .ca and… I have no words. The COLORS?! The depth?! The feeling?! I’m actually over the moon right now 😭

I cannot wait to start sharing these because wow… film is doing something to me creatively that I didn’t even know I needed. It feels honest, rich, and so alive.

Huge thank you to and the community she’s built… your girl has been in her student era these past couple weeks and it shows 👏🏽 creativity is THROUGH THE ROOF!!

Also can we talk about this new system?! Dialed in, intentional, and already changing the way I shoot. Weddings are about to feel even more robust, colorful, and free in the best way possible ✨

So grateful I get to keep evolving, keep learning, and build something that feels this true to me.

🤣MY BRIDES ARE ELITE COMEDIANS LOL!!🤣

One of my brides once sent me the funniest Photoshop edits after seeing the original frame of her first kiss. In the photo, her Maid of Honor had heroically stepped in like a ninja to try to move the officiant out of the shot. Truly the kind of supportive energy we love to see 😂

Of course, the final gallery she received was the polished version with the officiant beautifully removed. Huge shout out to my friend who helped me remove both the officiant and the Maid of Honor from the frame. Back then AI editing was not a thing and that level of magic was definitely not something I could pull off on my own.

But seeing the original moment gave us a good laugh because it reminded me of a little secret most guests do not know!

Dear amazing Maids of Honor who love your bride deeply and want to help…The best way to help during the first kiss is actually to stay exactly where you are.

Let the officiant stay in the middle Let the moment happen naturally. Trust your photographer!

Why? Because it is much easier for us to quietly remove one stationary officiant than it is to remove a surprise guest sliding into frame like an action movie scene.

No one will ever know. Magic!

Moments like this are also why I love working with couples who have a great sense of humor. Weddings are full of beautiful, emotional, and sometimes hilariously unexpected moments. The couples who can laugh at them end up with the best memories.

And for the record…this bride laughed harder than anyone!

Which made the moment even better 🤣💯👏🏾🫶🏽
