Please pray and help if you can ❤️ This summer we have an incredible opportunity to Share Christ's love with Orphans in Bucharest, Romania and we can't do it with out you. Everyday hundreds of babies and children are abandoned in Romania as parents are faced with the decision of relinquishing their children to state care. Currently there are 150,000 Romanian children living in state operated orphanages, and several thousand children living on the streets in Romania. I had no idea so many children are abandoned each year without care and left without the hope Jesus offers.

The Bible tells us that God wants us to care for the widows and orphans in this world. “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress ...” (James 1:27)

July 6- July 20th, four members of my family (including myself) have an incredible opportunity to go to Romania and show the love of Jesus to precious orphans. We can do this by joining a ministry called Heart to Heart that has been ministering to orphans for over 20 years in Bucharest, Romania.
Our church, Orchard Community Church, will be taking a team to invite these orphans to a camp where they can learn about the love of God. This camp offers food, games, crafts, which for kids in the United States is fairly normal. But for these children it would be very unique.

The orphans who will attend the camp currently face uncertain futures and will struggle to develop and grow through childhood, yet we’re confident of God's plan for each child. Most importantly we will have the opportunity to share God’s love and have a lasting impact, Lord willing, for eternity.

To make this possible, we need your help! We can’t do it without you. You can help us in different ways, both are equally important.

First, pray. Please pray for me, my family, and the orphans we will minister to. Pray for God’s will and power to transform the lives of every person we interact with as we share the plan of salvation with love and humility. Lastly, pray we meet our financial needs.

Second finances. The ministry trip costs $3500 per person. This cost covers a lot! The money will cover the orphan’s camp cost, travel, accommodations, ministry materials, and translators. If you in any way feel nudged to support me financially, please take a step of faith to help bring the gospel to these children.
