The constant calls were growing louder and nearer. With camera in hand I found its source. Three Common Ravens. I am wondering if these were young recently fledged from the nest. We have the most ever Jack in the Pulpit flower this year.

Jack-in-the-pulpit (Arisaema triphyllum) is a North American woodland wildflower known for its unique flower structure, resembling a preacher in a pulpit, with a spadix (the "Jack") inside a hooded spathe (the "pulpit"). This perennial grows from a corm in rich, moist, shady soil and produces bright red berries in the fall, but all parts of the plant are poisonous to humans. It's a popular, low-maintenance addition to shade gardens, bog gardens, and woodland settings.

Just out for a drive last evening and spotted this beautiful rainbow. It made me wish I had my camera with me, but they say " the best camera is the one you have with you" so, my phone did the trick. Bucket list item, capture a vibrant full rainbow over Lake Superior. 🤞
