A memorable sunrise intimate wedding in the Colorado mountains.

Not only did they hike up to their wedding ceremony site, but their closest family and friends even joined them.

At 4 in the morning…

Got to celebrate these two on their Estes Park anniversary in the place where it all began. ❤️

They were dreaming of romantic sunset portraits, and all the stars aligned for us!! We even had two moose who decided to pop by and say hello at the very end of the session.

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to photograph the same couples through all the seasons of life. Whether it’s an anniversary, a vow renewal, maternity photos, family photos, or simply taking photos just because… it’s always an honor.

Some recent sneak peeks from an elopement in the Colorado Rocky Mountains!

We love a summer day that feels fun, exploratory and care-free. And that’s just what this day brought.

We started at their Airbnb with some getting ready photos, and then roadtripped to their ceremony hiking spot, stopping for photos along the way.

There were moose, clear skies, mountain views, and we even ended the night with some stargazing.

Excited to see this image won a Legend Award!

This photo was taken during a Colorado elopement that involved a lakeside wedding ceremony at sunset.

These two were EXCITED. I’m talking those pure joy, over-the-moon, can-you-believe-this-is-real-life kind of feels.

I just feel fortunate to be there to capture this once in a lifetime love. Every. Time.

A moment for this sunset elopement ceremony near Grand Teton National Park.

After a day spent galavanting around the national park, boating across Jenny Lake, and hiking through the forest, there couldn’t have been a sweeter ending to the day than a glowing sunset like this.

A day spent doing the things they love in a place that was brand new to them.

What a way to start your marriage.

Ok, but witnessing a surprise proposal is just the coolest thing.

And the emotions and excitement of capturing photos right afterward? Love that too.  This one happened in Rocky Mountain National Park last summer just before the sun went down.

Their plan was to stop at this scenic overlook on the way to their dinner reservation. Little did she know, she’d be showing up to that steak dinner as a fiancée.

A fall wedding in Rocky Mountain National Park 🍂

Mountaintop wedding photos, all the golden hues, and a lakeside family ceremony make for a lovely wedding day.

Late September and early October are pure magic around here. That is, if you like crisp mountain air and that cozy fall feeling that makes you want to stay outside all day.
