What a week….actually what a month! About a month ago my coworker Ms. M asked if I could put together the Rocky Mountain Mining & Reclamation Conference program. Of course I said yes. With a degree in Media Arts it was nice to use my creativity! Along with that I put together a Swag Bag for attendees that had all the sponsors logos on it, a bandanna for the volunteers and various signage and other things. With the help of Margaret Hinton all the swag items came in as planned. Morley also asked if I could be the “Official Event Photographer” again I sad yes, I would love to!

So last Saturday I made my way to Durango, CO and worked Sunday through Wednesday late afternoon. After hours of downloading photos I was done for the week and had time to spend in my favorite part of Colorado. I left the Airbnb for some nature time. I haven’t ever spent a lot of time past Silverton but decided to explore on this trip and it didn’t disappoint! What an amazing experience both the conference and time spent alone in nature.
