On Friday afternoon, I have a few time slots that any seniors still needing their yearbook photo can drop in for a quick (under 10 minutes) headshot. I show you all the pictures before you leave so we ensure there’s a few you approve before you go. You then receive a digital link to select your favorite and I’ll submit to the school for you.

September 1st means FALL, right? 🍂 Like…crisp mornings, cooler temps, maybe a little cozy sweater weather?

Central PA said, “Absolutely not.” 😂

Instead, let’s go with a real feel of 100°, high bright bold sunshine, and just enough random breeze to make photo day extra interesting. ☀️💨

But this team? They showed UP. 👏🏻

The crazy heat didn’t stop them from bringing their A-game to their photos this afternoon. Even if they were a little sticky, a little windblown, and just a tiny bit squinty. 😂

They were troopers from start to finish, and I think we managed to capture some pretty awesome moments despite Mother Nature doing the absolute most.

Now can we PLEASE let September start feeling like September? 🍂😂

Izzy | Class of 2027 | Red Land High School

My next Senior Sunday… and fittingly, it’s the senior who started off my Class of 2027 season.

Izzy was my first senior session for this class, and she definitely set the bar. Her Pinterest board was on point and I enjoyed working to bring it to life.

I first met Izzy a few years ago when she and my daughter played middle school field hockey together. Since then, I’ve had the chance to watch her grow through the sport. She’s dedicated. She works hard. She’s driven. And she has goals—and I have no doubt she’ll chase them with everything she has.

Getting the opportunity to take her senior pictures was such an honor. I loved working with Izzy and her mom to create a session that felt like her. We started at the Capitol in downtown Harrisburg, made a quick stop at the creek, and ended surrounded by wildflowers. Three completely different settings, but each one gave us a chance to capture a different side of Izzy.

And honestly? Seeing this girl outside of her field hockey gear, relaxed, laughing and just being herself was pretty special. From the field hockey player I’ve watched compete for years to the beautiful young woman she’s becoming… senior year looks pretty good on you, Izzy.

Here’s to a year full of big goals, new memories, and everything the Class of 2027 has waiting for you. Thank you 🫶

If I could bottle up the lighting from last night and bring it to every session, I probably would.

Last night I had the absolute pleasure of taking Lexi’s senior photos, and WOW…what a session. Another beautiful Class of 2027 senior whose family came into my world through softball. And while she hasn’t played for a few years, it’s been so much fun getting to watch her grow up over the years.

Lexi keeps you on your toes, keeps you laughing, and brings a personality that makes photographing her so much fun.

We spent the evening at Country Joy Flowers , with a little mini pit stop beforehand to hop in the creek because…why not?! 🤷‍♀️

First, I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has been booking sessions with me lately. 🥹❤️ You are making a girl feel the love IMMENSELY, and I truly cannot thank you enough!

I also appreciate everyone’s patience as I’ve been working to get all of you who have reached out onto my calendar. My schedule is filling FAST, and space is definitely limited at this point.
