The first few minutes of a session are warm-up; chatting, joking, letting everyone relax while I figure out angles, light, and how they move.

Then comes the magic moment: they’re comfortable, I’ve found the spot and the light, and suddenly it’s “Wow. Don’t move. Do that again. Yes, love that, love that.”

The perk of familiar clients in familiar places? That moment comes almost instantly. From the first frame, it’s all “love that! love that! love that!”
