This is one of my absolute favorite photos I’ve ever taken. Back in college I liked play with contrast a lot. Like in this photo the hardness of the city behind the soft yet strong dancer. I mostly worked with film photography but took my digital camera along as well. And here we are with the lovely Sara from the Eugene ballet company helping me make beautiful photos.

This was a fun shoot from a few years back. But I just loved the sparkle in her eyes. Megan has such a fun personality and it was great being able to capture it. Senior photos and portraits can be so fun to do. I am looking forward to the coming senior photo season.
