Meet Shaun McGrath, who has always really liked taking photos and never gets tired of it. Since his childhood, Shaun was fascinated by the striking photos in National Geographic magazines and the stories they could tell. He likes to get lost in these pictures for a bit in our often nutty world. Shaun has driven many miles in California and Oregon which presented countless opportunities for photogr

aphs over the years. In his own words, photography “keeps me sane ( I like to think :) )” and he enjoys the new adventure every photo brings. He has won many ribbons, including blue ribbons in state fair photo competitions and his photos have been published by National Geographic. He enjoys sharing a connection with his customers through his photography that evoked a memory in them. His camera allows Shaun to see the world the way he wants, which is in a positive light. One of my favorite Heceta Lighthouse photos. I remember the day well, super windy, felt like 40-50 mph gusts. Had to try my best to squeeze out a non blurry shot. My camera and hands were getting blown all around. Ended up with a shutter speed of about 1/1250 of a sec to keep the image sharp, was chilly too! I posted this image the other day on Oregon Coastal Experience and it just hit 6k likes, my 3rd highest image ever. 🙂 www.PhotosByShaun.com
